Terry had always hoped for the opportunity to speak with young people about his life experiences in the hope of preventing them from making the same mistakes he made. Today, he was able to do just that at Mt. Clemens High School, where he spoke to a group of middle and high school boys. Terry shared the consequences of choices he made during his teenage years and how those decisions have had lifelong effects that he continues to face today. His message resonated deeply with the students, many of whom stayed afterward to ask him questions one-on-one. One especially moving moment came when a young man asked if he could pray with Terry, a gesture that touched everyone in attendance. 

Members of MIP recently visited Stonecrest Psychiatric Hospital in Detroit and delivered donations of clothing and books to support patients in need. Many individuals admitted to the hospital arrive with only the clothes they are wearing, making donated clothing an essential resource. The hospital works hard to provide appropriate clothing to patients through its clothing closet, which relies heavily on community contributions. In addition, Stonecrest maintains a collection of books for patients to enjoy during their stay. Because many patients take books home with them upon discharge, the hospital is continually seeking donations to replenish its shelves. The generosity of donors plays a vital role in helping the hospital meet these ongoing needs and provide comfort and support to its patients. MIP is grateful they were able help the patients of Stonecrest.
